 POSITION SUMMARY:

Mainly responsible for the Turn Over, Shrinkage and the stock.

 PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Key Results Area):

 

  • Full responsibility of all stores and its teams
  • Insure shrinkage, wastage, and any losses are within agreed ratios
  • Implementation of agreed planograms and merchandizing principles
  • Responsible for store openings based on agreed expansion plan
  • Drive sales based on yearly targets
  • Control costs based on agreed budgets
  • Define and implement store policies & procedures
  • Close collaboration with the commercial team to insure targets are met and prices are in lign with strategy at all times
  • Practice and communicate company values and maintain a positive culture to create motivated teams
  • Insure high level of Customer Service at all times through driving overall operational excellence
  • Regular customer facing in order to better understand their needs and communicating it to commercial team
  • Responsible for store team Succesion Planning, Training & Development initiatives
  • Insure a high level of hygiene and cleanliness and maintain high standards
  • Insure a high level of security and control of the stores at all times
  • Responsible for store equipment and fittings maintenance  and preventive maintenance

 

 KNOWLEDGE, Skills & Experience

  • Education: Degree in Business Administration or any similar field
  • Language: English and Portuguese (or Spanish) are a must.
  • Knowledge: Experience in retail and FMCG for supermarkets in emerging markets out of them min 5 years in leadership positions
  • Computer skills: PC literate
