KNPT – Travel Solution is responsible to ensure development of right solutions based on knowledge about customer needs and market trends and Using our expertise to guide the Sales network & Scania Business Units in implementing our solutions
The main responsibilities include:
Act as product expert for assigned product platform for the Scania organisation globally
Help business units to optimise vehicle performance to achieve the best possible solution and Total Operating Economy
Assist the sales organisation to make the right choice of product
Work closely with the sales organisations at both BU and S&M and provide them with technical and specification advice
Handling of S-order requests
Take an active part in shaping the future product line up together other stakeholders within product management
Provide technical advice to BU’s, sales departments and Key Account Managers
Take leadership of the offered technical specifications when conditions require, e.g. when entering new markets, new segments or large deals
Support product introductions by coordinating affected departments, stakeholders and resources and Lead R&D as well as BU to understand deep technical features
Work cross functionally with R&D, Purchasing, Connected services, Parts, PTA and sales organization to understand and promote sustainable offers.
Shape and influence the cooperation with our external bodybuilder partners
Your profile
We are looking for a service minded person with a can-do attitude, an interest in building relationships and who is triggered by working close to the market with the high pulse that this at times requires. A strong technical interest in the bus products is a must as well as an interest to put this into use in a commercial environment taking into consideration product cost, price, and choice of best product.
We believe you have a university degree in engineering, or corresponding work experience. English is mandatory; intermediate level of Spanish is highly recommended, other languages a merit. Occasional travelling to markets are part of the job. Location for the position: The position will be in Brazil – SLA.
Other merits of interest are a strong network within R&D and/or the business units. Since this position requires frequent interaction with and understanding for the business units we welcome applicants from Scania Business units around the world.
